It’s a week of appreciation at the Humane Society of Missouri!
On Tuesday, June 6, we hosted our annual Spring Donor Luncheon at our Best Buddy Pet Center park in Maryland Heights. Donors enjoyed visiting with Barn Buddies from Longmeadow Rescue Ranch and watching a pup from the Purina Incredible Dog team perform. We are so grateful to our donors and couldn’t do what we do without their generosity!
On Wednesday, June 7, we hosted our first all-employee meeting since the pandemic. During this event, employees heard from several managers and program leads about what’s been going on in their department. Afterwards, all attendees enjoyed a Fuzzy’s Taco Shop dinner in the park!
On Thursday, June 8, we will host our annual Volunteer Appreciation Dinner, recognizing the hard work and dedication of our volunteers. The evening will include dinner from Rigazzi’s, ice cream sandwiches for dessert and the opportunity for volunteers to mingle with each other and be recognized for their ongoing efforts.
It takes the involvement of all different components of the Humane Society of Missouri to help give animals the second chance they deserve. We are so grateful to our employees, donors and volunteers for their continued support of our mission!
