Make it official

Young Friends members contribute a minimum of $50 annually as a charitable donation to uphold the mission of HSMO. Every gift is eligible for tax deduction.

Members get VIP behind-the-scene views of HSMO’s operations, from animal care and fostering to veterinary services, youth programs and more! Make a difference while gaining unique insight into our work!
Become a Young Friend

Young Friends will support the Humane Society of Missouri by:

  • Obtaining sponsorships and auction items for HSMO signature events.

  • Volunteering with HSMO signature events and exclusive opportunities.

  • Serving as “Ambassadors of Fun” at events and socials.

  • Authentically connecting with the organization’s gratitude efforts.

  • Contributing new fundraising ideas for Young Friends to plan and carry out.

Young Friends will have the opportunity to:

  • Authentically engage with other young professionals in social, volunteer, and professional capacities.

  • Receive a $50 discount on adoptions.

  • Receive $50 off your first checkup at our Animal Medical Center of Mid-America.**
  • Have a positive and impactful experience to include on your resume.

  • Request a recommendation letter or referral from senior leadership at HSMO.

  • Receive appreciation of your time and commitment.

  • Have opportunities to meet the animals you are working to help!
