Meet Candy & Carlos

In July, our Animal Cruelty Task Force (ACT) rescued more than 250 animals from a shocking hoarding situation. The conditions were dreadful, and animals like Candy and Carlos were crowded inside a single home. None had adequate access to clean food or water, and they were in desperate need of veterinary treatment. This was the largest dog rescue we’ve performed in more than a decade. But now these animals are on the road to recovery.

Meet Fuzzy

Fuzzy was surrendered to HSMO by no fault of her own. Upon intake, our team discovered an old injury with scarring across her left eye. Our veterinarians agreed that the cloudy eye would have to be removed for her to recover comfortably. After weeks in our care, she had healed beautifully! Fuzzy was finally ready to get her second chance with a loving, forever family.

Meet Ivy

When Ivy was surrendered to our Animal Cruelty Task Force she was in desperate need of medical care and farrier treatments. Ivy had overgrown hooves, old untreated wounds, and was absolutely loaded with parasites. Her severe state of emaciation meant it would be a long road to recovery. Thanks to supporters like you, we were able to give Ivy the time and attention she deserved.
