Giving Tuesday | December 3, 2024
Join us on this national day of giving and rally support for the Humane Society of Missouri! With your help, we can make miracles happen for thousands of needy animals! And this year, our special friend Pam will match every donation made to HSMO, up to $50,000! Your Giving Tuesday gift will go twice as far to provide twice as many animals with safe shelter and compassionate care.

Gavin
Gavin and 21 other Coonhound mix puppies and dogs were rescued from an unlicensed puppy mill in Gasconade County. He was emaciated, sick, and covered in ticks and fleas. Gavin’s story reminds us of why we are here — to lead animals from abandonment, to rescue, to a loving forever home.
Glenda
Glenda was also rescued from Gasconade County. After her rescue, she needed time to gain weight and overcome her infections. But as soon as she was made available for adoption, she got her second chance and a forever home!
Anita
We rescued Anita and 17 other equines from a property in Harrison County. She weighed only 576 pounds when she arrived at Longmeadow and needed help from our team to stand. Today she weighs more than 900 pounds and is on the path to a long and happy life.
Gracie
When we rescued Gracie, she was underweight, covered in ticks, sick with multiple infections, dehydrated…and doing her best to care for her days-old puppies. This year we have been overwhelmed with large-scale rescues where we have saved dogs like Gracie and her puppies from dire situations. Your support is needed now more than ever.
