Three HSMO Pups Featured in this Year’s Puppy Bowl!

We are so excited to announce that three HSMO pups are participating in this year’s Puppy Bowl on Animal Planet!

• Astro was surrendered to our Macklind Avenue shelter in July at only two weeks old because his owners were moving and couldn’t take him.

• Charlotte came to the Macklind Avenue shelter in September from the National Mill Dog Rescue and quickly caught the eye of everyone on the Animal Planet team.

• Mardipaw, her siblings and mother were left in the overnight kennels at the Maryland Heights shelter in July. They were hard to resist with their fluffy coats and sweet temperaments!

Charlotte is in the running for “Most Pupular,” and bracket-type voting is taking place on the Discovery Channel website. Round one voting takes place through Jan. 16, and round two begins on Jan. 17 if she makes it!
