Sorrento Springs 3rd Grade Class

March 7, 2008- The 3rd Grade students brought the bounty from their 2008 service project. They collected hundreds of pet care items and made wonderful bandanas for our adoptable dogs. Each bandana featured a message to promote adoption such as, "Let me brighten your day." and "Big dogs have big hearts."

Forsyth School 3rd Graders

April 2008-Forty-four 3rd graders came charging off the bus with trash bags full of donations and a check for $1,174.49! After much contemplation and energetic voting session; they chose to donate the money to our fine, hard-working Rescues and Investigations department.

 

Parkway Central Senior

April 2008- Students and staff raised $200 and a lot of wish list items through their annual "Canines, Cats, and Critters" drive.  The students requested that the money be given to the Cinderella fund.

 

Sacred Heart Catholic School Kindergarten

April 8, 2008-Seventeen kindergarten students spear-headed a rummage sale and donated $500! They chose the money to go toward the flood relief efforts to help care for our four-legged flood victims.

Garret Elementary Student Council

April 15, 2008-The Student Council members from Garrett Elementary hosted a "Pennies for Pets" fundraiser and donated $125 to the Cinderella fund and $125 to the foster program!
