Highway 40 is now closed from I-170 to Kingshighway until December 2009.
With the construction affecting the entire St. Louis area, the Humane Society of Missouri encourages you to use the following resources to help you find your way to the animals. Please remember that we have three locations to serve you!

From Clayton Road stay stay straight onto Oakland Avenue (at the Cheshire Inn)
From Skinker/McCausland turn east onto Oakland Avenue continue on Oakland
right (south) on Macklind
For areas South and Southwest of St. Louis City
From the east or the west:
I-44 to Hampton Exit
North on Hampton
right (east) on Oakland
right (south) on Macklind

From the south
Kingshighway north to Manchester
left (west) on Manchester
right (north) on Macklind
From Olivette, University City and North County
Forest Park Parkway east or Interstate 70 east
